In the summer of 2017, JB-108 was assembled at our home base in Netherlands and then taken on a short towage across the North Sea to the Thames Estuary, where the river Thames meets the North Sea. JB-108 served there to build a new jetty at the jet fuel terminal of Canvey Island. The project lasted 12 months and main scope of work during this project was piling, heavy lifting, and topside slabs installation.
